Powerboat Courses

The National Powerboat Scheme is applicable to Sportsboats, RIBs, Dories, Launches, and other boats which do not normally provide accommodation or cooking facilities.

Course information:

Level 1: lasts 1 day
Level 2: lasts 2 days
Intermediate (Day Cruising): lasts 2 days
Advanced: lasts 2 days and 1 night

The HSSE Security Manager who passed the Advanced Powerboat Certificate plus his Yachtmaster Theory, ICC, Diesel Engine, VHF/SRC and First Aid certificaes in July 2009 said on his return to Angola:
